Sarah Booth, Oddfellows Account Planner
Kicking off her career in London, Sarah has worked in brand strategy, communications and market intelligence across a wide spectrum of blue chip clients in industries such as FMCG, alcohol, Telcos, Pharamaceuticals, Government and Charity. Most recently, she’s completed a stint client side in Auckland as Insights Manager with New Zealand Lotteries. A shift to Planning at a strong and ambitious agency has always been on her radar and so she’s excited to add her finely tuned creative thinking skills to the Oddfellows planning team.
Rapt by different perspectives on the world and wondering why people do what they do, Sarah is forever seeking those “’wow, I hadn’t thought of it like that’ moments”. It’s one of the reasons she studied English Literature at Oxford, and it’s why she’s spent the last five years working in research and strategy.
Oddfellows bolsters planning and digital team
An expanding client roster and organic growth across all clients has created a higher demand for digital and planning services, resulting in the Oddfellows team being expanded by two new senior staff. Joining the agency as an Account Planner, Sarah Booth has moved to Oddfellows from a stint as Insights Manager with New Zealand Lotteries in Auckland. Her career start-up in London at Truth Marketing Strategies, had her working in brand strategy, communications and market intelligence across a wide spectrum of blue chip clients in industries such as FMCG, alcohol, telcos, pharmaceuticals, government and charity. Sarah will be working with Ed Berridge, Director of Planning at Oddfellows, and the driver of strategic planning disciplines in the agency. Matt Geersen joins the agency as Digital Art Director. Before joining Oddfellows, Matt worked at digital agency Profero Sydney on a range of brands including Pizza Hut, Smirnoff, Johnson & Johnson, EA Games and EMI Music. His work has been recognised at Award, Cannes Young Lions, Effie and IAB level as well as an Apple Featured App in 2011. Andrew Black, Oddfellows Managing Director, said, “I am very excited that we have two very talented and capable communications professionals joining the team”.
